Sorry it's been so... long!

It has been a few months since I have posted on this blog. It has been a very busy and productive Summer. Hmm, where to begin? We hosted a family reunion the end of June, celebrated the Fourth of July, Catered a Hair Show, welcomed to beautiful baby girls into our family and are working on having their baby show this coming Sunday.

Oh, and throw in a few birthday parties too...

Family is a precious gift and something I cannot live without. Here's a glimpse into my peeps and Summer.

Jump in Anytime

What is it that I want out of life? I want to be a presence in the lives of others. I want to continue on my artistic journey and succeed in having a fruitful and happy life. I want to help and encourage others along the way to my God-given destiny.

I'm taking an e-course w/ Kelly Rae Roberts that is opening a new world to me. There are many like minded souls there who want to grow and learn how tho reach their highest potentials in their artful endeavours, me included.

Signs of Spring

Is anyone besides me glad that Spring is on the way? I like looking at the snow, but I do not like shoveling it, or the way the cold makes my body feel.

I have been out working in the gardens several times in the last few weeks and it has felt great to feel the sun on my skin and see the signs of new life with the flowers poking through the soil.

Here are some pics of my first blooms. Enjoy.

Co-op group Xmas project artists entries

Well today I have been watching some Movies and thinking about this past year. It has been nearly a year since I've been unemployed, but my life has grown in many ways.

I have fibromyalgia, yet this was my best summer in a long time. I got to work out in my garden a lot and it was better than it has ever been. In addition, my creative juices where just on fire and I created many different pieces of art.

I joined the local Garden club and attended and participated in my first Artist Co-op group. I thought I would share a few of my 4 x 4's that we as a group made for our three area nursing homes for Christmas gifts.
